Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager - British Isles Region (m/f/d) for Packaging

Your Challenge at Start-Packaging:

In the role of Area Sales Manager for the British Isles, you'll be instrumental in driving sales of our packaging products, focusing on glass packaging and sustainable materials, across Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Inner and Outer Hebrides, and the Northern Isles.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition:
Actively identify and secure new business opportunities within the British Isles, tailoring solutions to meet diverse market needs.

Sales Presentations:
Conduct persuasive sales presentations both in-person and online, creating offers that cater to the specific needs of clients across the region.

Trade Shows and Events:
Represent our products at key regional trade shows and industry events, enhancing brand visibility and market presence.

Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends and competitor activities, formulating strategies for market expansion and penetration in the British Isles.

CRM Utilization:
Manage customer relationships and sales opportunities using modern CRM systems for efficient engagement and follow-up.

Network Building:
Develop and expand a network of sales partners to enhance market reach and influence across the British Isles.

Your Areas of Responsibility:

Key Account Management:
Manage key accounts in the packaging, food, and beverage industry within the British Isles.

Revenue Management:
Take charge of customer relationships and revenue targets for key accounts, creating strategic sales initiatives.

Product Innovation:
Identify new product opportunities and introduce them to your clients, fostering long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.

Your Profile:

Educational Background:
Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or relevant commercial vocational training.

Professional Experience:
Proven experience in sales, especially in the packaging industry, with an emphasis on innovative and sustainable solutions.

Language Skills:
Proficiency in English. Additional local language skills (e.g., Scottish Gaelic, Irish) are a bonus but not essential.

Independence and Initiative:
Self-motivated and independent, eager to explore new business opportunities within the British Isles market.

  • Proven experience in sales, particularly in the packaging industry, focusing on glass packaging and sustainable materials.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability in customer acquisition and relationship management within the British Isles.

  • Capability to conduct effective sales presentations and create tailored offers for diverse clients.

  • Experience in representing a company at regional trade shows and industry events.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of local languages or dialects (e.g., Scottish Gaelic, Irish) is a bonus but not essential.

Market Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the market dynamics and cultural nuances within the British Isles, including Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, and the island groups.

  • Ability to develop and implement region-specific sales strategies.
