Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager - North Africa Region (m/f/d) for Packaging

Your Challenge at Start-Packaging:

In the role of Area Sales Manager, you'll be pivotal in driving sales of our packaging products, with a focus on glass packaging and sustainable materials, across key North African markets: Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition:
Proactively seek and acquire new customers in Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara, tailoring packaging solutions to diverse market needs.

Sales Presentations:
Deliver effective sales presentations, both in-person and online, creating offers that resonate with clients across these diverse regions.

Trade Shows and Events:
Promote our products at regional trade shows and events to enhance brand recognition and market presence.

Market Analysis:
Keep a pulse on market trends and competitors in these countries, formulating strategies for market growth and penetration.

CRM Utilization:
Manage customer relationships and sales opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring efficient and impactful customer engagement.

Network Building:
Establish and grow a network of sales partners to bolster our influence in these North African markets.
Your Areas of Responsibility:

Key Account Management:
Oversee key accounts in the packaging sector, particularly in the food and beverage industries, within the specified North African countries.

Revenue Management:
Take charge of customer relations and revenue targets for your key accounts, developing strategic sales initiatives.

Product Innovation:
Identify new product potentials and introduce them to your clientele, ensuring long-term customer loyalty.

Your Profile:

Educational Background:
Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, or relevant commercial training.

Professional Experience:
Solid experience in sales, especially in the packaging industry, with a focus on innovative and sustainable solutions.

Language Skills:
Proficiency in Arabic and/or French is essential, along with English.

Independence and Drive:
Self-motivated and independent, eager to explore new business opportunities within the North African region.

Requirements for the Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager - North Africa Region (m/f/d) for Packaging

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or relevant vocational training in a commercial discipline.

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally with a focus on the packaging industry, particularly glass packaging and sustainable materials.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability in customer acquisition and business development across diverse markets, with a focus on the specific needs of Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

  • Expertise in conducting effective sales presentations and creating customized offers that cater to the unique needs of each market within the region.

  • Experience in representing a company at trade shows and industry events.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in Arabic and/or French is essential, along with a good command of English. Additional regional language skills are advantageous.

Market Understanding:

  • Strong knowledge of the North African market dynamics, with insights into the cultural and business practices of Algeria, Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and Western Sahara.

  • Ability to develop and implement market-specific sales strategies.

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to work autonomously while achieving sales targets.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

CRM and Data Management:

  • Proficiency in using CRM software for managing customer interactions, tracking sales opportunities, and analyzing market data.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the North African region to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and engage in on-ground market activities.
