Your Challenge at Start-Packaging:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving the sales of our packaging products, focusing on glass packaging and sustainable materials, across the BENELUX and France region. Your role is crucial in acquiring new customers and maintaining robust business relationships within Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and France.

Your Responsibilities:

Customer Acquisition:
Actively seek and acquire new customers across the BENELUX and France region, tailoring solutions to meet diverse market needs.

Sales Presentations:
Conduct persuasive sales presentations both in-person and online, creating customized offers that resonate with clients.

Trade Shows and Events:
Represent our products at regional trade shows and industry events to increase brand awareness and market penetration.

Market Analysis:
Monitor market trends and competitor activities within the region, developing strategies for market expansion and penetration.

CRM Utilization:
Effectively manage customer relationships and sales opportunities using modern CRM tools, ensuring efficient customer engagement and follow-up.

Network Building:
Cultivate and expand a network of sales partners to enhance our market reach and influence in the BENELUX and France region.

Key Account Management:
Oversee key accounts in the packaging, food, and beverage industry, focusing on the BENELUX and France region.

Revenue Responsibility:
Directly manage customer relationships and revenue targets for designated key accounts, devising tailored sales strategies.

Product Potential Identification:
Identify and introduce new product opportunities to your customers, fostering long-term client loyalty and satisfaction.

Your Profile:

Educational Background:
A degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or relevant commercial vocational training.

Professional Experience:
Proven experience in sales, particularly in the packaging industry, with a strong emphasis on glass and sustainable materials.

Communication Skills:
Excellent communication abilities, fluent in at least one language relevant to the BENELUX and France region (French, Dutch, or Luxembourgish) and English.

Autonomy and Drive:
Self-motivated with an independent work ethic, enthusiastic about developing new business opportunities in the region.

Educational and Professional Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent vocational training with relevance to sales and marketing.

  • Solid professional experience in sales, especially within the packaging industry, focusing on glass packaging and sustainable materials.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the BENELUX and France markets, including cultural and business practices.

  • Sales Proficiency: Proven track record in customer acquisition, client relationship management, and achieving sales targets.

  • Presentation Skills: Ability to conduct persuasive sales presentations, both in-person and online, and to create customized offers.

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluency in French and/or Dutch is essential, along with proficiency in English. Luxembourgish language skills are a bonus.
